Simulation of Hydrodynamics of Bubble Column Reactors
In this tutorial, we provide guidelines for modeling and simulation of gas-liquid bubble column problem. We use the multiphase mixture model and provide advice on solver settings.

Problem Description of Bubble Column Reactors
In this tutorial, we model gas-liquid bubble flow in a bubble column reactor. The reactor has a rectangular cross-section and the flow pattern is two-dimensional. The reactor has the height-to-length ratio of 3 ( Length of 0.5 m, and height of 1.5 m). Also, a small inlet is located 15 cm away from the left side wall where the gas is injected into the water column. The velocity of the air is 6.6e-4 m/s, and the inlet is 4 cm wide. Also, air bubbles average diameter is 3 mm.
