Do this if the target quantity is constant for specified number of time steps. For instance, the efficiency of the fan is constant after some iterations. So, the simulation is not needed to run for more. Then, it is possible to use a derived variable to plot the standard deviation of the efficiency in the monitor properties, derived variable tab. Now you can create an interrupt control to stop the simulation. we do this when the standard deviation gets below the desired number.
