Project Description

Multiphase flow is one of the most important and most widely used issues in mechanical engineering. The phase shift of a fluid or interaction of two different phases are widely seen in many industry or nature issues. Most industrial processes, such as power generation, cooling, and distillation, depend on evaporative and condensation cycles. Steel, paper production, all involve critical stages depending on the working conditions and equipment in multiphase mode. Most of the pollution projects can be simulated and analyzed using multiphase flows. The methods of analyzing two-phase flows follow all the basic rules of fluid mechanics.

In this project, it has been tried to simulate and analyze the three-dimensional, two-phase flow through an open channel with Ansys Fluent software.
