As the surface area increases, the transfer of heat increases. This process is done using blades extending from the wall to the surrounding fluid. Some application of blades are : motor cooling blades in the motorcycles, cooling blades in power transformers, blade tubes used to increase the heat exchange between the air and fluid in the ventilation devices.
In each application, selection of the type of blade depends on factors such as dimensions, weight, cost, and the rate of reduction in convection coefficient at the level of increasing the pressure drop across the blades. This is a suitable device for analyzing the effect of the heat transfer surface, type of fin, base temperature on the temperature distribution, and heat transfer in the Fins.
In this analysis, it has been tried to simulate and analyze the heat transfer of the fluid flow around a perforated fin using the Ansys Fluent software.
