Project Description

Today, the use of channels in the industry has been considerably brought in attention. Its usages can be mentioned such as air transfer channels and water transfer. The shape and dimensions of the channels are also largely dependent on their uses. The use of sluice to reduce the outlet pressure and also eliminate inappropriate conditions in the channels is one of the methods that is widely used in channel design today.

The design of the shape and location of horizontal caps on vertical channels is also one of the methods that is very much taken into consideration in order to achieve suitable conditions in such channels.

In this analysis, it has been tried to use different shapes and designs. This analysis was performed by Ansys Fluent software.
