Simulation of Premixed Combustion Using the Finite-Rate Chemistry Model
In this tutorial, we provide guidelines for modeling and simulation of premixed combustion in a conical chamber. We simulate the combustion problem of a premixed gaseous fuel mixture of methane and air using the finite-rate chemistry model.

Problem Description of Premixed Combustion
The lean methane-air mixture (equivalence ratio = 0.6) enters the furnace at 60 m/s and 650 K. Several complex reactions between CH4, O2, CO2, CO, H2O, and N2 occur in the combustion process. Also, in our simulation, the high-speed flow exits through the co-axial outlet after reversing its direction in the combustor.
