Density-Based Solver

The density-based method is used when the flow compressibility is significant, i.e. the density varies with time and place. In general, in models where the Mach number is significant in simulation, a density-based solver is used. This solver should not be used in cases with a constant density. This solver is used to simulate models related to acoustic waves and the phenomenon of shock waves and airfoils in ultrasonic waves. The classification of density-based methods based on the type of formulation includes two categories of implicit and explicit and based on the type of flux includes two categories of AUSM and Roe-FDS.
