Description

This training package includes 7 different CFD simulation projects using ANSYS Fluent software related to various Solar Devices. MR-CFD suggests this package to those interested in Renewable Energy Engineering, especially Solar Energy analysis. This package introduces you to various project descriptions and designs and how to simulate them, considering a wide range of related studies numerically.

First, we start the training package with a paper validation related to the Effects of geometric parameters on the performance of the solar chimney power plants, to verify our CFD methodology. Then we continue the package by investigating a 3-D solar chimney, and also solar chimney application for Solar Air Conditioning (HVAC). After that, a solar heat exchanger and a radiator heated by a solar panel are studied. Finally, two simulations are carried out considering PCM application on a solar collector and solar heater of a water tank.
