Description

This training package includes nine different CFD simulation projects using ANSYS Fluent software related to solar air conditioning in various places and conditions. MR-CFD suggests this package to those interested in Renewable Energy Engineering, especially Solar Energy analysis. This package introduces you to various project descriptions and designs and how to simulate them, considering numerically a wide range of related studies.

First, start the training package with a simple project about solar radiation’s effect on a house’s HVAC; Then, we will investigate the radiation at different hours throughout one day. After that, we consider more detailed effective designs of structures such as shadings, various facade designs, and balconies effect on a house HVAC by applying CFD simulation. Next, we simulate the radiation effect on offices, mosques, and gasoline tanks. Finally, we will study a comprehensive CFD analysis of the Urban Heating Island (UHI).
