Description
Spray CFD Simulation Training Package, 10 Projects by ANSYS Fluent
Spray CFD Simulation Training Package includes 10 different CFD simulation projects using ANSYS Fluent software related to various Sprays. MR-CFD suggests this package to those interested in Spray CFD analysis. This package introduces you to various project descriptions and designs and how to simulate them, considering numerically a wide range of related studies.
This package includes simulated products using the discrete phase model (DPM). In the discrete phase model, we use the Lagrangian approach for analysis in fluid mechanics. According to this approach, we follow a fluid particle by particle.
The discrete phase model has many industrial applications. One of the main applications of this method is the spray process. The study of spray in different computational models interests engineers and designers.
We start this package with a basic spray product. Product number 1 deals with spray modeling in a specific space.
One of the applications of the spray process is to use it in a spray dryer. These devices are used for drying and dehumidification processes. Products number 2 and 3 are related to the simulation of spray dryers.
In two projects, we have modeled the splash of paint in a certain space. Products number 4 and 5 are related to color spraying.
The difference between these two products is in the boundary conditions of the walls exposed to color dispersion. In project 4, the trap boundary condition is used, and in project 5, the wall film boundary condition is used.
Product number 6 is modeling an air freshener. This device spreads fragrant droplets in space. Product number 7 is the use of air fresheners. This project has investigated the performance effect of air fresheners in a restroom with a heater.
Product number 8 deals with the simulation of the spraying of drug particles in an asthma inhalation device. In product number 9, we presented complementary modeling of asthma devices in medical applications. In this project, we investigated the propagation of inhaled asthma within the bifurcations of the human lung.
In addition, spraying is widely used in combustion chambers. Fuel is injected into the chamber to react with the oxidizer. Product number 10 has focused on the simulation of fuel injection inside a combustion chamber.
By studying this fantastic and practical training package, you can claim you are an expert in modeling and analyzing every CFD simulation related to sprays and their applications. Make yourself ready to enter the related industries as a CFD engineer.
