Description

Heat Exchanger Training Package, 10 CFD Projects for Intermediate Users

In this heat exchanger training package, we start the simulation with a 3-D heat exchanger with a twisted barrier. Then, we study the conjugated heat transfer to examine the heat exchanger efficiency considering viscous heating and baffle cut.

Then we will deeply analyze the shell and tube heat exchanger with different conditions and operating parameters. Considering nano fluid applying Mixture multiphase model we will compare the effect of baffle cut and helical fin.

One of the popular types of shell and tube heat exchangers is the vertical one. Also, the vortex generator and PCM effects are studied on the shell and tube heat exchangers. Finally, we will simulate finned tube for crude oil cooling and triple heat exchangers.
